Dr. Yang, Jwing-Ming will be teaching seminars for the first time in Taipei, Taiwan on October 12th, 13th, and 14th, prior to the World Cup Tai Chi Chuan Championship competition. He will be teaching Qin-Na, Pushing Hands, and Qigong (Embryonic Breathing). To register, please download the registration form for seminars and follow the instructions.
In addition, Dr. Yang is offering to take YMAA students with him to visit various locations around the city on October 15th, 16th, and 17th. He will be showing students the old practice grounds in Hsinchu where he used to train White Crane, Tamkang College where he taught as a Physics professor and trained Long Fist, and a scenic area south of Taipei called Wulai. Sightseeing will take place before the competition, which is on October 18th and 19th. Please sign-up in advance ASAP if you plan to join the sightseeing group.
Last year's competition attracted about 10,000 spectators and 2,000 competitors. Photos of past years' events can be found here. To join the competition, you will need to download the registration form for competing.
